Baptisms for Children Under the age of 7

0-7 years of age.

In order to baptize your child, you must have the following documents:

• Birth certificate of the child who is going to be baptized
• Certificate of completed pre-baptismal classes for both parents and God parents. (These classes are currently only offered in Spanish at our parish. Any pre-baptismal class approved by the diocese of Salt Lake City is approved.)
• a Marriage certificate through the church from the god parents. (A Marriage certificate through the State will not be valid for a baptism) If the God parents you have chosen are not married, they can still be God parents for your child if they are completely single and have completed the following sacraments.
• Baptism
• First Communion
• Confirmation

                   A copy of the certificate of all 3 sacraments is needed.

• An appointment is not needed to submit these. You can stop by the Parish office during office hours (Mon-Thurs 9am - 3pm) and fill out a baptism registration form. This can also be submitted to the Parish email. Please be sure to name the subject line as the child who will be getting baptized so that we can attach it to their file.  Everything must be turned in at least 2 weeks before the desired date. * Please note that we use the information that is on the child's birth certificate. If any information on the child's birth certificate is incorrect, please ensure that it is fixed before registering for a baptism. Baptisms are every second and fourth Saturday of the month at 10am unless stated otherwise. Please call the Parish office for available baptism dates. *

Baptisms for Adults

18 and up

If you are an adult wishes to be baptized you will need to enroll in the OCIA classes. Currently registration is closed and there are no spots left. Please contact the Parish office for more information.
