First Communion
Ages 8-12
The First Holy Communion is a special Sacrament where children receive the Eucharist (the Body and Blood of Christ) for the first time. It is a deep and meaningful moment in a child's journey of faith and is celebrated with a mass. This Sacrament takes 2 years to complete and must be baptized.
Confirmation
Ages 13-17
Confirmation is one of the seven sacraments and is considered the sacrament of initiation in the catholic church. During confirmation the candidate receives the gifts of the holy spirit, which empower them to be active members of the Catholic Church and witnesses of Christ in the world. This Sacrament takes two years to complete and must have completed the sacrament of baptism and first communion.
